With kids still in school, even though nearing the end, Labor Day still ends summer around here. Backpacks taken out again, still with the detritus of June. Curiousity about teachers to come, plus who shares the same lunch period.

Work-wise, I gear up for the fall, wondering what happened to the time I was going to spend in the garden, making interesting summer drinks, and entertaining. Still, heat and all, it wasn't bad.
